Gene Summary

Gene Symbol
Ccl20

Model Description

The endogenous mouse Ccl20 gene was replaced by human CCL20 gene.

Validation Data

Fig.1 Detection of CCL20 expression in small intestine and duodenum by RT-PCR. Mouse Ccl20 mRNA (174 bp) was detectable only in wild-type C57BL/6 mice. Human CCL20 mRNA (138 bp) was detectable only in homozygous hCCL20 knockin mice but not in wild-type mice. Small intestine and duodenum RNA was extracted from 6-week-old female wild-type C57BL/6 (WT)(n=2) and homozygous hCCL20 knockin mice (HO) (n=2), then cDNA libraries were synthesized by reverse transcription, followed by PCR with mRNA primers.

Abbr. M, marker; HO, homozygous; WT, wild type.

Fig.2 Detection of human CCL20(A) and mouse CCL20(B) expression in serum of WT C57BL/6 mice and HO hCCL20 mice by ELISA.  Human CCL20 was exclusively detectable in homozygous hCCL20 knockin mice. Mouse CCL20 was exclusively detectable in wild-type C57BL/6 mice.  Serum were collected from wild-type C57BL/6 mice (n=2, female, 7 weeks old) and HO hCCL20 mice (n=2, female, 7 weeks old), and analyzed by ELISA with anti-mCCL20 ELISA kit and anti-hCCL20 ELISA kit.

Abbr.  HO, homozygous; WT, wild type.

Note. hCCL20 and C57BL/6 mice were i.p. injected with LPS(5mg/kg) for 3h.
